Turkey Shoot
Each year prior to Thanksgiving, Community Ed offers a Turkey Shoot Free Throw Shooting Contest.
This contest is a parent/child activity for school age children Kindergarten through 8th grade. Boys and girls compete separately. Each member of the parent/child teams gets to shoot 15 free throws. The totals for each are then compiled and the winners are determined. Sara Lee Foods of Storm Lake provides the prizes each year.
This activity provides some fun family time and you may just get lucky enough to go home with your Thanksgiving dinner!
