good will for the extra-curricular activities among faculty, students, alumni, parents and friends of the
Storm Lake Community School District."

The Storm Lake Community School District Foundation has recently done it's first mass mailing to our alumni. The purpose of this mailing was to let the alumni know that we exist and direct them to our web and facebook pages. At the same time, we wanted to let everyone know that our foundation accepts tax exempt donations. If you do a little extra giving around the Holidays or if you are planning your estate, remember our foundation. Money received can be earmarked for certain projects or programs or it can be placed in the general fund. Requests for funds from school district groups are all approved by our board.

The Foundation is also preparing for it's first major project. Check back this spring to see what is being planned and how you can help impact the students that are currently attending the Storm Lake Community Schools.
