| What is the ACT? |
| • The ACT is a test that assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. |
| • It consists of 215 multiple-choice questions, broken into four subject areas: English, Math, Reading, and Science. There is also an optional Writing Test. |

| So why should I take the ACT? |
| • The ACT test is accepted by all four year colleges and universities in the United States. |
| • The ACT is based on information you are learning in high school |
| • The Act is more than a test. The information you provide when you register, along with your ACT results, can help you plan for life after high school. |
